It's in a great spot, the pool is really nice and the sitting area outside. The staff were somewhat helpful. I really appreciated that they gave me back a few nights stay after I didn't sleep the first night. I'm sure this hostel wouldn't have been a problem for me to stay in the shared bunk area during a cooler time of the year but without air I, personally, couldn't sleep.

I found the bed a bit small for my height but I swear I saw guys taller than me staying there - so maybe it's just me. I might be getting too old to rough it out. There is one bathroom with one toilet and one shower for about 8 bunks. They don't rent out bicycles, but you can get some a few 100 metres in either direction from the hostel.

The pool looked nice but I did not go in.

The pool looked nice but I did not go in. Thought being closer to the beach off the Main Street would be nice.

Top bunk was very hot. The bunks were ok on the bottom as they had their own stool fan but there was only one ceiling fan and it didn’t provide much relief through the mossie nets.

Sleeping arrangements are very hot due to lack of air conditioning. Even though my friend and I had fresh sheets and a mosquito net covering our entire bed we still got attacked by a bug - suspected bed bugs as there was fewer bites on the second night once we got our sheets changed

Enjoyable enough, loved Tulum, fun to bike everywhere, felt safe. Good memories

Location, friendly staff, quaint, peaceful surroundings.

No food on premises, murky water in pool, bad drainage in shower. Leaked all night making constant dripping noise. After enquiring twice, almost missed out on seeing cenotes (our main reason for visit) due to lack of communication of the time it closed, time it took to get there and then a 3 km walk! Luckily we got a private taxi and made it with 1hr to enjoy. No maps on offer. A little lacking for important tourist information.

The location was pretty good and the staff was very helpful...

The location was pretty good and the staff was very helpful and really nice! Also across the road there is a huge supermarket which makes your life much easier.

Very basic and small room. The bathroom was dark and tiny. There was only one small shelf and no wardrobe at all. Also the air-con was either on a full speed or not working at all. But the worst was the shared outdoor kitchen: dirty, smelly and very small amount of kitchen equipment included (no matches or lighter, a few plates, one mug, one fork/spoon). The microwave was unusable (actually maybe it was but I wasn't brave enough to try). If you travel with small kids consider different location.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating.

There were a lot of mosquitoes inside the room. It was very disappointing. However, the staff provided us with mosquito repellant spray when we complained about the mosquitoes. The room was small especially the bathroom.

The staff were all lovely and welcoming (especially the girl). Proximity to the beach (I had a bike but from this hostel you could actually walk it). The street has a more laidback hippy vibe than the Main Street - cute health food cafes, some chilled restaurants, Tribal Yoga down the road are really good! Very tranquil atmosphere, the place is so relaxed, quiet, lots of trees and the pool. Perfect for those that don’t care about socialising and partying and would like a nice relaxing healthy stay in Tulum! Both big supermarkets also on this street - super convenient. No bikes to rent at the property but 2 places closeby - at “iBike” I was able to rent for 70pesos per day for long term (7 days). Each bed has own mosquito net and fan!

The kitchen wasn’t super clean as other people have mentioned, and the fridge was absolutely packed with food even though I only saw 1 other guest use the kitchen during my stay - but it’s better than having no kitchen/fridge at all. A lot of mosquitoes around due to the setting - if you like to sit outside at night definitely need to be prepared but each bed has an individual mosquito net so sleeping is fine!

Overall a great hostal but avoid needing the kitchen if you can.

Lovely staff, big lockable storage lockers (need your own lock), good mosquito nets. Mattress was comfy enough and sheets clean.

Bathroom in upstairs dorm needed a really good clean, I didn’t wish to use it and preferred going to the toilet in the downstairs toilet. However on the second day the soap disappeared? The mattress had a couple springs sticking up which I had to avoid. The shared kitchen was completely disgusting, and the drinking water empty/not replenished for my two night stay. The bins in the kitchen were very full the whole time.

Clean, good beds very comfortable.

Clean, good beds very comfortable. Big lockers in the room for your things. Mosquitos net around the bed. Was only fans in the room but it was fine.

Was missing a good value breakfast. There is the space for it, but the required service is over a 100 pesos more.
